Santo Domingo has consistent temperatures of 77-82ºF (25-28ºC) throughout the year, with heavy rainfall from May to November. On the eastern side of the country, in places like Punta Cana, there is heavy rainfall from June to November, which is also hurricane season. Temperatures can be slightly warmer than Santo Domingo. If traveling to the interior mountainous regions, make sure to bring layers as it can cool down at night.
