Make travel accessible, the top priority
This story begins with Álvaro Silberstein and Camilo Navarro, lifelong friends. After a car accident in 2004, which left Álvaro with a disability (C5 quadriplegia), he and his friend set out to realize their dream: hiking Torres del Paine route in Patagonia.
"Nobody had ever done the route in a wheelchair before, but with a special all-terrain chair and the right information, it could be done.”
After completing the journey, their story went viral inspiring hundreds of people with disabilities. Wheel The World was then launched to encourage others to explore the world without limits.
