Situated right on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, only one block from the Atlantic Ocean, Generator Miami is a fun and quirky youth hostel offering a pool, an onsite bar and restaurant, a 24-hour reception and free rental of bikes and beach towels. A free WiFi connection is available. 

Generator Miami offers both dormitory-style rooms and private rooms, and some of the dormitory rooms are female-only. All units are air-conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen TV and a safe for personal belongings. Some of the private rooms are specially adapted to accommodate guests with disabilities and include amenities such as a bedside telephone and visual notifications on the smoke detector and fire alarm. Accessible bathrooms have a roll-in shower with grab bars, a fixed shower seat and an emergency cord. There are also fixed grab bars by the toilet. 

The Hoja Taqueria onsite restaurant offers authentic Mexican cuisine made from local ingredients and accompanied by innovative cocktails. There is also a poolside bar, Driftway, which serves beers, frozen cocktails, seafood and light snacks. Many other bars and restaurants can be found in the center of Miami Beach, only a 30-minute walk away.
