Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate that 40% of South Walton's land is preserved, offering ample opportunities for hiking, biking, and bird-watching.
Easily reachable, South Walton is located less than 25 miles from both Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) and Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS).
Accessibility is a priority here. Six of the nine regional beach accesses are ADA accessible, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the stunning coastline. Also, an eleven-person wheelchair-accessible electric tram is available at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, providing inclusive access to the park's natural beauty.
