Nestled along Northwest Florida's Gulf Coast, South Walton boasts 26 miles of sugar-white sand beaches and turquoise waters. With 16 unique beach neighborhoods, each with its own personality and charm, the destination combines natural beauty with a vibrant mix of local shops, galleries, and world-class dining. Whether you're kayaking, biking scenic trails, or simply relaxing by the water, there's something for every kind of traveler. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate that 40% of South Walton's land is preserved, offering ample opportunities for hiking, biking, and bird-watching.
Accessibility is a priority here. Six of the nine regional beach accesses are ADA accessible, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the stunning coastline. Also, an eleven-person wheelchair-accessible electric tram is available at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, providing inclusive access to the park's natural beauty. With preserved lands, cultural gems, and inclusive experiences, South Walton welcomes visitors to relax, explore, and discover their perfect beach escape.
