The DASH – Free downtown shuttle: operated by The Rapid and provided by the City of Grand Rapids, DASH offers a completely free and accessible way for locals and visitors to explore downtown. All buses and stops include the same accessibility features as The Rapid, ensuring a convenient and inclusive transit experience.
The Rapid: Grand Rapids’ public bus system offers reliable and accessible transportation throughout the city and surrounding areas. All buses are equipped with ramps, priority seating, and securement areas for wheelchair users, ensuring an inclusive transit experience for all.
The Gerald R. Ford International Airport makes travel more accessible with a range of amenities, including wheelchair assistance, TDD telephone devices, a T-coil loop paging system, and handicap parking. Additionally, the airport now offers a new sensory room and adult changing tables to enhance comfort for all travelers. Guide dogs and other assistance animals are welcome in all public areas of the passenger terminal building. With over 100 daily flights and more than 30 nonstop destinations, the airport ensures convenient travel options for all passengers.
