A small coastal city, Yachats is found in southern Oregon. The Central Oregon Coast Range flanks the city to the East and the Pacific to the West. Known as the gem of the Oregon Coast, it's hardly surprising as there are numerous scenic hikes and viewpoints, delicious seafood, stunning basalt coastlines, and, of course, breweries and wineries.

Some of the accessible transportation options are:
Accessible public transportation NW Connector busses.
Note that there are no WAV ride-sharing services available.

Some of the accessibility features we measured include:
Room: entrance, spaces, bed and closet
Bathroom: access, interior, toilet, shower and sink
Building access, lobby, breakfast area and common spaces

Visiting Yachats is a year-round option, but it is best when large crowds have dispersed in the fall, and the weather is often cool and refreshing.
With coastal weather, Yachats enjoys warm summer (70°F highs). Early fall brings warm days and cool nights (50-60°F), occasionally with mild rain. Winter round 30°F and spring temperatures resemble fall (50-60°F).
Yachats hosts events like the Mushroom Treasure Hunt (Oct-Mar), featuring unique glass and porcelain creations, and the annual Arts and Crafts fair highlights local talent.
Discover the different wineries in the region through various vendor events. Soak up some of the stunning scenery from Cape Perpetua, the highest point on the Oregon Coast. View coastal forests and tide pools!
