After breakfast, around 09:30, you will be picked in an accessible vehicle directly from your hotel. You will then head to the Sugarloaf mountain cable car station. 2 cable car lines will take you to the highest point of the mountain, where you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view over Guanabara Bay and the city of Rio de Janeiro. Your guide will tell you more about the place, its history, and will be able to answer all your questions.
The stations, toilets, and elevators are accessible and mobile ramps can be installed whenever needed to get into the cable cars. After you have enjoyed the view and made your way back down, you will go for lunch in a Churrascaria, located at Botafogo district. You will then go onto a city guided tour. To make the experience more comfortable, a Lomo 360 will be provided and installed onto your wheelchair.
Visit the narrow streets of the city, observe the iconic building of the science museum : Museum of Tomorrow, and the both historic and modern architecture building complex of the MAR Museum. Enjoy the famous street-art murals of Kobra and the Selaron steps. This colourful staircase has been renovated and covered with tiles, ceramics and mirrors by Chilean-born Jorge Selaron, making it an iconic tourist attraction. You will then discover the largest stadium in the world, globally know as Maracana! Built in 1950, it has been created to host the Brazil World cup. Next, you will head to the Santa Teresa neighborhood.
Located on top of a hill, it has a village atmosphere. It is characterized by its old mansions, art galleries, colonial-style churches, boutique hotels, trendy cocktail bars and restaurants, but above all, its yellow tram, that crosses the neighborhood from end to end. As you wander around the city, you will be able to see craft makers, and purchase souvenirs, coco water and caipirinhas in the street!
After the tour, your guide will drive you back to your hotel.

The 15-minute train ride will let you discover the beauty of the mountain, and the exotic and diverse wildlife of Corcovado. An elevator and an escalator will then help you reach the feet of Christ the Redeemer.

The members of staff working onsite will provide assistance to whoever needs it. You guide will tell you more about the surrounding nature, but also about the history of Christ the Redeemer and what it represents around the world.
