A world surfing capital in a small Chilean town, Pichilemu and its beaches such as Infiernillo and Punta de Lobos have become important tourist spots in Chile. In 2019, the municipality of Pichilemu took the initiative to make three of its beaches inclusive for people with impaired mobility: the Principal, La Caletilla and Cáhuil. They now all have parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities, an all-terrain wheelchair managed by local officials, an amphibious wheelchair for use by visitors and a lifeguard on duty.

Pichilemu
