This multi-day trip was designed with accessibility in mind. Your comfort and safety are our priorities! All transfers will be done on an accessible van with a wheelchair lift, every activity has been adapted for people with disabilities, and all transfers exceeding 2 hours will include accessible restroom stops. Please inform your guide in advance if you require such accommodations.
Every hotel we include on this multi-day trip has been carefully selected to be accessible; if those are not available on the date of your trip, we will choose and guarantee you another similar accommodation with an accessible room that also matches your needs.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head to La Pavona pier on an accessible van and board a boat to Tortuguero. There is no wheelchair-accessible entrance to the boat, and getting off your wheelchair might be necessary since there are no safety straps. However, your guide and dock staff are available to help. This tour is not recommended for very heavy power wheelchairs; you can come along if you are ok with using a borrowed manual wheelchair.
Lunch:
After enjoying the 1-hour boat ride's spectacular landscapes, you will arrive at Evergreen Lodge, which is wheelchair accessible. Here you will have a buffet lunch.
Afternoon:
After lunch, you'll have the option to visit The Sea Turtle Conservatory in Tortuguero, which is dedicated to protecting and preserving sea turtles and their nesting habitats. It is partially accessible and plays a crucial role in research, education, and community involvement to ensure the long-term survival of these magnificent creatures in the region.
Afterward, you'll be taken back to the Evergreen Lodge to finish your day, where your accessible room will be waiting for you.
