Day 1. Arrival

You will be picked up on an accessible van from the airport to Park Inn by Radisson San Jose, where your guaranteed accessible room will be waiting for you.

Day 2. Arrival to Tortuguero + Sea turtle conservatory
On day 2 of your multi-day trip, you will be driven to Tortuguero island on a private, accessible transfer. The 90-minute ride will take you thro...On day 2 of your multi-day trip, you will be driven to Tortuguero island on a private, accessible transfer. The 90-minute ride will take you through the beautiful Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will stop by the Evergreen rest center to enjoy a traditional Costa Rican “Tico” breakfast, consisting of scrambled eggs served with refried beans, fried plantain, sour cream, Salvadorean cheese, avocado, and tortillas.
After breakfast, you will head to La Pavona pier and board a boat to Tortuguero. There is no accessible access to the boat, but your guide and dock staff are available to help. After enjoying the 1-hour boat ride's spectacular landscapes, you will arrive at Evergreen Lodge, which is wheelchair accessible. Here you will have a buffet lunch buffet.
After lunch, you will visit the sea turtle conservatory. It is a small museum that allows you to learn all about turtle species through beautifully curated exhibitions.
You will be taken back to the Evergreen Lodge to finish your day, where your accessible room will be waiting for you.

This hike lasts for about 90 minutes and the entrance fee to the park is not included. If required, a Joelette chair can be provided for the most adventurous travelers wanting to go through more challenging trails.
Lunch will be served at Evergreen Lodge and you will have a free afternoon. Contact our travel experts if you would like to arrange additional activities. Dinner will be served at the lodge as well.

Arriving at Arenal, you will take a bath in spectacular thermal waters, an experience in which assistance and an optional amphibious wheelchair will be provided if needed.
Later, you will arrive at Kioro Suites & Spa, where your accessible room will be guaranteed. Sit back, relax and enjoy your stay.

Depending on the weather conditions, you will have an included lunch after the trail in Arenal 1968. After lunch, you will be driven to Kioro Suites & Spa.
After having breakfast at the hotel, it will be time for you to head to the treetops! Guides are highly trained and have vast experience in the adapted zipline. Adapted equipment and assistance are provided to whoever needs it at all times. With adapted restrooms and accesses, everyone can experience unbounded excitement.
After returning to land, you will continue your day in Vida Campesina, where you will take a cooking class. Beginning with an introduction to the place and the produce that grows there, you will cook, eat, and make a toast at the end of the experience with some local cane extract.
You will be driven back to Kioro Suites & Spa at the end of the day.
On day 7, you will be driven from Arenal to San Jose. Upon arrival, the activity for the day will be a unique gastronomic experience at a local San Jose restaurant that serves authentic and flavourful Costa Rican cuisine.
