An ancient yet modern country with many stories to tell and tons to show, there is an impressive amount of landmarks that date back many centuries ago. This trip includes a 4-day accessible cruise through the Nile River and visits to Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. You will have many guided visits and free exploration time, including dining experiences and shopping. The most famous landmarks you will visit are the Luxor Temples, the Egyptian Museum, and the Aswan Dam.

Even though Egypt presents some access difficulties for wheelchair users and accessible toilets will not be available during some activities, this multi-day trip was designed with accessibility in mind! All guaranteed accessible rooms are equipped with a roll-in shower, and an accessible van fitted with a wheelchair ramp will do all transfers in Cairo; in Luxor, Edfu and Aswan, there will be a non-accessible but bigger van equipped with a railing to access if you need it. Guides are always willing to help with transfers or pushing your wheelchair.

10:00 AM: Arrival at Giza Plateau; the site houses many Egyptian landmarks, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world! Although the pyramid interior is not accessible for wheelchair users due to stairs and insufficient space, you can see them from the outside, a spectacle on its own. Chefren and Mykerinus pyramids are also found here, all of which you can explore and photograph from the outside. An accessible restroom is available at the visitors' center.

12:30 PM: After a 40-minute drive, you will have lunch at at an accessible local restaurant.

3:00 PM: You will head to the Egyptian Museum, which hosts many Egyptian antiquities and artifacts.

5:00 PM: You will have the choice to return to your hotel to have dinner or head to Islamic Cairo, where you will discover the city's significant souk Hakan El Khalili, a famous bazaar to shop for jewelry, antiques, and souvenirs. Later in the afternoon, you will return to your hotel on the accessible van.

The ride takes 20 minutes, and although the van is not wheelchair accessible, the vehicle is bigger than usual; there will be railings to help you board, and your guide can assist you in transferring to a seat. 3:00 PM: After lunch on board, you will enjoy your guided visit to the remarkable Karnak and Luxor Temples in Luxor, which have accessible accesses but no wheelchair-accessible restroom. You will have long distances to cover here, so an extra assistant can be provided if necessary to push your wheelchair.

8:00 PM: You will return to the cruise, which will be your accommodation for the night, and have a delicious dinner.

13:30 PM: You will sail to Edfu, an ancient Egyptian settlement where you can explore and marvel at the historical town. You will have free time to explore, shop, and take photographs here.

8:00 PM: After returning to the cruise, you will have a delicious dinner and spend the night onboard.
