Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavik

You’ll begin by going to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with wheelchair-accessible paths that you can follow. The next stop will be at Geysir Spouting Spring where you will see the world’s most famous geyser which erupts every 4-8 minutes. Then you’ll see Gullfoos, Iceland’s most famous waterfall and on the way back to Reykjavik, you’ll visit a volcano crater.

Day 4: Private tour along the South Coast

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and accompany you throughout the day, taking you first to Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This 60-meters high waterfall has a wheelchair-accessible path which allows you to get up close to the water. You’ll then stop at the Eyjafjallajokull visitor center which has informational displays about the 2010 volcanic eruption. Next, you’ll go to one of the country’s biggest waterfalls, Skógafoss, which has an impressive width as well as height. The last stop on the day’s tour is at Vik, and along the way you’ll be able to see the Reynisdrangar basalt columns which are formed through geological activity and stand in the sea. After visiting Vik, your driver will take you back to Reykjavik.

Afterwards, you’ll cross continents by visiting the bridge that goes over the tectonic plate boundaries that separate Europe and North America. Finally, you’ll visit Iceland’s beautiful Blue Lagoon. This lagoon has colorful clear waters and is accessible to visitors with disabilities, with accessible changing rooms, a pool lift and specially adapted wheelchairs. The waters are shallow and warm and you’ll have a chance to relax in unique surroundings. At the end of the day, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
