You will be taken to Casa Andina Premium Cusco, where your guaranteed accessible room will be waiting for you. This day will also help you to get acclimatized to the altitude.

Afternoon: After settling in, you'll prepare for a private half-day guided tour of Cusco, a city known for its mixture of Inca and Spanish cultures. You'll discover the city's streets, churches, and archeological treasures, including the famous Stone of Twelve Angles on Hatun Rumilloc Street, the Plaza de Armas (main square), and the Temple of Qoricancha. At the end of your tour, you'll return to your hotel by accessible van or wheeling/walking; you will have dinner and spend the night there.

Please note that since Cusco is a colonial city, it can be hard to navigate for wheelchair users, the ground is made out of cobblestone, and the curbs are not ramped. This is why you'll have 2 assistants available to help, besides your guide. There will be an accessible toilet available at the Incanto restaurant near the Plaza de Armas.

The van has a ramp to enter, and a transfer needs to be performed from the wheelchair to the seat; assistants will be available.

Upon arrival, you'll get down from the accessible van or be helped to do so, hop in directly to the Joelette, and have an incredible trek with scenic views of ancient Inca constructions. Sacsayhuaman, a historic capital of the Inca Empire, overlooks the city of Cusco and is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. There are no accessible toilets on-site, just non-accessible restrooms: one at the entrance and another at the exit.

Your next stops will be Qenco, Tambomachay, and PucaPucará, other spectacular ancient Inca ruins. You'll get to each site by van, and upon arrival, you'll transfer to your Joelette and explore the site with the help of 2 assistants. These places only have non-accessible toilets.

Afterward, you will head back to Cusco, where you will have lunch at the Incanto restaurant near the Plaza de Armas. The Incanto restaurant has an accessible toilet, and the restaurant is accessible for wheelchair users. Later you'll be dropped back at your hotel and have a free evening.

After an hour's drive on an accessible van, you’ll arrive at Kacllaraccay and have a 2-hour adapted bicycle tour through the Sacred Valley finishing in Pachar. Before the tour starts, you’ll receive safety instructions from your guides and receive some fruits, coffee, and isotonic drinks. Lunch: After yout ride, you will get off your bike and head to Chichubamba, where you’ll have lunch, learn about the local lifestyle and activities, and participate in artisan workshops. If your visit occurs on a market day, you can browse the stalls for hand-painted beads or warm ponchos and maybe practice some Quechua, the local language. Time to explore Machu Picchu!

On an accessible van, you will be picked up from your hotel around 5:30 AM and taken to the Ollantaytambo train station for a 2-hour ride to Aguas Calientes. There will be accessible restrooms at the Inca Rail offices and at the departure and arrival train stations. There is a non-accessible restroom on the train. After seeing spectacular sites on the train, you will board a bus that will take you to the entrance door of the citadel. Although neither the train nor the bus is wheelchair-accessible, remember that guides are eager to help wheelchair users and are trained to do so.

As one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu is known for its architectural beauty and spectacular natural landscapes. The energy you feel emerging from its enigmatic constructions will leave you breathless! You’ll explore the site on a Tracks Mobility wheelchair, which will help you explore more independently.

After the visit, you will stop for lunch in a local restaurant with fantastic food and non-accessible but easy-to-access restrooms. You will be taken back to your Cusco hotel in an accessible van.
