The tour begins with an accessible pick-up service from your hotel to the Palace of the Parliament building, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. You’ll spend approximately 90 minutes with your English-speaking guide.
Next, you will visit the picturesque Old Center of Bucharest and learn about its architecture. Afterward, you’ll head to the Village Museum for a 2-hour visit and then have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll spend some time relaxing and exploring Herastrau Park, and at the end of the day, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel in the accessible van.
Please note that parts of the Old Center of Bucharest have a cobblestone floor, but your guide will be on hand to assist if necessary. Three of the stops on the tour have accessible restroom facilities, and you can store your wheelchair inside the van if you wish. For an extra charge, guests with visual or hearing disabilities can purchase audio guides to use at the Palace of the Parliament and the Village Museum.
