Overview

A staple New York building, Rockefeller Center has an observation deck you can visit in an accessible way. With views to Central Park and the Empire State Building, the historic building tells the story of its evolution through time and is luxuriously decorated. You will be able to watch short films at the on-site theatre and enjoy New York’s skyline from the 70th floor. A gift shop is located on the 69th floor.


Both the Rockefeller Center and Top of the rock, the building’s observatory, are wheelchair accessible. Entrances are step-free and guides are trained to help people with disabilities choose the correct path suitable for their needs. All floors are accessed via elevators and accessible restrooms are available on the 66th floor. Service dogs are welcome every step of the way.

Rock Observation Deck is open from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, 7 days a week. The first elevator goes up at 10:00 AM, the last one at 09:10 PM. Hours of operation may vary on holidays.

Food is not allowed at the Top. You may carry water in a non-glass bottle.

Yes, discounted rates apply for children, and children aged 6 and under do not pay.
