Overview

Since 1937, the National Gallery of Art has been exhibiting masterpieces of classic and modern art. The list of artists exhibited include Van Gogh, Raphael and Monet. The East building houses many modern artworks. You can visit this place for free.

 There are wheelchairs on-site for visitors’ use and both buildings are connected via an underground walkway. Floors are smooth and exhibition rooms have comfortable seating to gaze through the paintings. Service dogs are welcome, and bathrooms are accessible for wheelchair users. Braille transcripts and audio guides are available at the West building. Also, Assistive listening devices can be available if requested with 1-week notice.
