7:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel

8:30 AM: Ground transportation to Chichen Itza (2.5 hrs)

To maximize the day's itinerary, an early departure is recommended. Very few accessible restroom facilities will be available en route, so make sure to use the restroom at the hotel before starting your trip, since almost the entire time you’ll be traveling through forested areas.

The transportation vehicle is fully equipped to accommodate guests using wheelchairs and will be the same vehicle utilized for airport transfers and subsequent travel arrangements throughout the duration of the trip.

11:15 AM: Chichen Itza Tour (2.5 hrs)

Welcome to Chichén Itzá, one of the most fascinating ancient cities in the world! To make the most of your day, we recommend an early departure so you can enjoy all that this magnificent site has to offer.

If you have any concerns about accessibility, fear not! Chichén Itzá is extremely accessible, with the same transportation vehicle you'll be using throughout your trip fully equipped to accommodate guests using wheelchairs.

Once you arrive at the entrance, follow the ramp to the ticket booth and entryway, which is flat and cemented, making it easy to navigate. Although the terrain may be less than ideal in some areas, you'll have no problem exploring this incredible site.

As you journey through the ancient city, you'll come across many paths made of tightly packed dirt scattered with small loose and embedded stones, and occasional tree roots that you'll need to navigate around. But don't worry, the paths are wide and it's easy to move around. Plus, vendors lining the route will keep you entertained along the way!

Once you reach the main ruin complex, you'll be thrilled to know it's completely flat, so there are no big hills to climb! However, remember that the area is hot and humid year-round, so we will help you find shade along the far sides of the ruins.

If you need to take a break, there's an accessible restroom located inside the main entrance building, and other accessible restrooms can be found in a small shopping center area where you can buy souvenirs and snacks.

Don't miss the opportunity to explore one of the world's most iconic and fascinating ancient cities. Chichén Itzá awaits!

2:30 PM: Tour of Tulum Archeological Site (2 hrs)

Welcome to our Tulum Archeological Site tour designed for wheelchair users! We are excited to show you this ancient city with stunning views of the Caribbean sea. At the entrance, our team will assist you in purchasing your ticket at the open-air accessible ticket booth area. Don't worry, our team will be there to help you overcome any obstacles along the way.

We will take a 5-10 minute walk on a mixture of cobblestone, dirt paths, and puddles before arriving at the ruins. On the way, we will go through three steep ramps with a little bit of help from our team. Once we cross a small tunnel, we will be able to explore the ruins with ease.
