With a top-of-the-line fully accessible minivan equipped with a ramp and safety belts, you'll be able to sit back and relax while your guide takes you on tour. With accessible restrooms available along the way, you'll never have to worry about anything but enjoying the stunning landscapes and breathtaking views.

First up, you'll visit the breathtaking Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning geological beauty and rich history. With well-maintained, accessible walking paths, you'll be able to explore the park in all its glory and discover its hidden gems with your knowledgeable guide.

Next, get ready to witness the awe-inspiring geothermal wonder of Haukadalur and its famous geyser, Strokkur. With good wheelchair access, you'll be able to get up close and personal with this incredible natural phenomenon as it erupts every 4-8 minutes, reaching heights of up to 40 meters. After lunch, head to the Golden Waterfall, Gullfoss. With good wheelchair access to the viewing platform, you'll be able to admire this stunning natural wonder from the comfort of your wheelchair. And, before you head back to Reykjavik, you'll stop at the breathtaking Kerið, a volcanic crater of immense beauty and one of the oldest craters around.

Starting from the city center, you can visit Reykjavik's historic landmarks, charming streets, and bustling markets. Before your trip, we will provide a guide to the most exciting and accessible streets. Please note that a minimum level of mobility is required, as Reykjavik is partially flat and has some gently steep streets. If you need any more help, we will be more than happy to help you book that; just let us know beforehand to make the necessary arrangements.

Blue Lagoon relaxed evening (3:30 hrs)
The Reykjanes peninsula is home to the unique Blue Lagoon and you will have the choice to visit it today and enjoy the relaxing properties of the geothermal water. The Blue Lagoon is fully accessible, with one changing room for wheelchair users (therefore, we will go by turns) and a special wheelchair to enter the lagoon through a gentile ramp. The deepest point of the lagoon is 1.60m/5.2ft, but mostly it is much shallower than that. The Blue Lagoon has friendly staff to provide a little assistance for those with accessibility needs.

  • If you want your own room there is a single supplement additional charge of $860 USD

  • This tour has a maximum capacity of 10 people, with a total of 4 power wheelchair users

  • A 20% deposit is required to secure your spot on the tour. The remaining 80% must be paid 45 days before the trip start date.

  • Group tours will be accepting new travelers until 60 days prior to the start date

  • This tour must have a minimum of 7 participants to take place at the listed price. If the minimum is not reached, the tour still may be able to occur at a higher price, we will let you know by email.

  • Travel insurance is not included but is highly recommended.

  • We strongly recommend booking flights with a flexible price, so that you can make changes if needed.

  • If you're looking to make your group tour even more amazing by adding extra days or activities, our travel experts would be more than happy to help you out! Cancellation Policies

  • We totally understand that things come up and plans change. If you need to cancel your booking, here's what you need to know.
  • If you need to make changes to your booking, like canceling some or all of it, here's what you need to know. To officially cancel your trip, we need to get written confirmation from you. Just reach out to your Travel Expert and they'll help you with the process. Consider:
  • 1) If you let us know more than 60 days before your trip, we'll keep your deposit as a credit for you to use later.
  • 2) If you let us know between 45 and 59 days before your trip, we'll charge a 30% fee of the total booking cost.
  • 3) If you let us know between 44 and 30 days before your trip, we'll charge a 60% fee of the total booking cost.
  • 4) If you let us know 29 days or fewer before your trip, we'll charge a 100% fee of the total booking cost.
  • 5) No-show or not used portions of the trip are non-refundable.
  • But no matter what, we'll do our best to make this process as easy as possible for you.
  • If a trip or activity cannot take place due to extraordinary circumstances (extreme weather events, social movements, war, earthquakes, epidemics, etc), a full refund cannot be guaranteed. Rest assured, the Wheel the World team will do its best to offer the best arrangements possible.
