Arrival
Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport in San Jose, you'll meet your fellow travelers, local guide, and group leader. Your guides will assist with your luggage and transport your San Jose hotel in an accessible van equipped with a ramp. You'll meet up for dinner at a restaurant near your hotel to meet up with your travel mates! We will choose a great option that is friendly to dietary restrictions, fully accessible, and where you can try local flavors. This meal is included. Meals included: welcome dinnerDay 2
San José City Tour + Zoo Ave
Start your day at Rescate, the animal rescue center formerly known as Zooave, nestled in La Garita de Alajuela. Join guided tours to learn about their mission of conserving Costa Rica's wildlife through rehabilitation and breeding efforts. After your tour, treat yourself at the onsite café and browse the souvenir shop, knowing your visit supports the vital mission of protecting the country's biodiversity. Next, explore downtown San José, founded in 1737, and visit iconic landmarks like the National Theater and the National Museum. Don't miss sampling authentic Costa Rican coffee at the Central Market. Conclude your city tour at Plaza de la Cultura, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Indulge in Costa Rican cuisine at "Mi Tierra," a renowned restaurant in the heart of San José. Enjoy traditional dishes like "olla de carne" and "casados," along with refreshing beverages and exquisite Costa Rican coffee. Be sure to try the delicious "chifrijo" before you leave. End your day with a visit to the Jade Museum, where you can explore galleries filled with ceremonial objects and sculptures made from jade. Morning: After having breakfast at the hotel, you will depart towards Arenal with your driver and personal guide on a wheelchair-accessible van. The trip to Arenal can take between 3 to 4 hours. Lunch: Fuel up for the exciting day ahead with an included delectable lunch stop on your way to Arenal Afternoon: Once you arrive in Arenal, you will have the opportunity to soak and relax in the hot springs. Assistance and an amphibious wheelchair will be provided. Afterward, you will check into your hotel and spend the night. Dinner is included at the Hot Springs. Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.Day 4

Hanging bridges & Organic Farm Cooking Lesson
Morning: After breakfast, you will get ready to have a fantastic day at Mistico Park. There, you will enjoy a beautiful hike, cross its hanging bridges, and spot unique flora and fauna with the help of your knowledgeable guide. The site has accessible restrooms and accesses, and professional guides have been heavily trained in working with people with accessibility needs. The necessary adapted equipment will be provided whenever required for you to focus on enjoying this unforgettable experience. Lunch: Returning to Arenal, you will have lunch and have some time to explore this town freely. Afternoon: The itinerary continues in Vida Campesina, an organic farm where you will have a cooking lesson. Beginning with an introduction to the place and everything that grows on their farm, you will cook a delicious Costa Rican dinner, make a toast, and eat your preparation with a glass of sugar cane extract. Transfer from Arenal to Manuel Antonio
Morning: Start your day right with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive in a fully accessible vehicle from Arenal to Manuel Antonio, which takes approximately 4 ½ hours, and offers opportunities to take in the breathtaking views of green landscapes. Lunch: We will stop halfway to have lunch and use accessible restrooms. Afternoon: You’ll continue for a little while more until you make it to your hotel in Manuel Antonio. Meals included: breakfast and lunchDay 6

Manuel Antonio National Park and Adapted Surf
In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading to the Manuel Antonio National Park. This 680-hectare park is perfect for an accessible trekking adventure with an experienced guide who will take you on a journey filled with exotic plants, local animals, and some unusual monkeys and raccoon species. Afterward, we offer a beach setting on the public beach where you can enjoy the sun, the beach, and the beach atmosphere with fruits and coconut. Additionally, you will have an adapted surf class and lunch at a local restaurant. You have the freedom to select your preferred dinner venue. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.Day 7
Wildlife contemplation accessible boat tour
Morning: After breakfast, the tour will begin with a pick-up service from your hotel in an accessible van. You will board a boat and sail down the Tarcoles River to discover local wildlife and spot crocodiles. You will then travel to the Jungle Crocodile Safari & Bird Watching Tour Center, where you will stop for lunch later. The center is set on one level and has accessible bathrooms, as well as a large restaurant and a gift shop. You will wheel approximately 200 metres (218 yards) along paved pathways from the center to the dock, where you will board the accessible tour boat. The boat tour will be led by an experienced guide, who has worked with visitors with physical, hearing and visual impairments. After the tour, you will enjoy lunch at the restaurant at the boat station. Afternoon: You will take a 2-hour ride back to San Jose to stay at your accessible hotel. We will have a farewell dinner in a restaurant near the hotel tonight. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.Day 8
Departure
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, it's time to say goodbye to the friendships made on this trip. You will check out of the hotel and be taken to the airport via accessible van, with the driver assisting you with your luggage. Meals included: breakfast

This tour has a maximum capacity of 8 people, with a max of 4 wheelchair users
Reserve your spot for only a 30% deposit. A second payment of 20% will be due 120 days prior and the balance must be paid 90 days before the trip start date.
This tour must have a minimum of 6 participants to take place at the listed price. If the minimum is not reached, the tour still may be able to occur at a higher price, we will let you know by email.

If you need to make changes to your booking, like canceling some or all of it, here's what you need to know. To officially cancel your trip, we need to get written confirmation from you. Just reach out to your Travel Expert and they'll help you with the process. Consider:
Cancelling more than 131 days before your trip: Your deposit will be retained and non-refundable.
Cancellations made between 130 and 91 days before your trip: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost will apply.
Cancellations 90 days or fewer before your trip: A cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking cost will apply.
No-show or not used portions of the trip are non-refundable.
But no matter what, we'll do our best to make this process as easy as possible for you. If a trip or activity cannot take place due to extraordinary circumstances (extreme weather events, social movements, war, earthquakes, epidemics, etc), a full refund cannot be guaranteed.
