Discover the mesmerizing Mina Nueva Adapted Trail through a medium-intensity, guided hike on a Joelette wheelchair in La Campana National Park, 1.5 hours away from Valparaiso, Chile.

The historical mining path, known as "Camino de la Gringa," stretches across 2.37 km to the breathtaking Mina Nueva viewpoint. Immerse yourself in the captivating sclerophyllous forest, which showcases endemic flora such as boldo, bellotos, molle, quillay, peumos, and more. In section 3, you’ll explore a xerophytic forest with shrubs, espino, litre, cactus, tebo, and other species along the north slope. Approximately 1 km away, the Mina Nueva viewpoint offers a spacious area to marvel at the grandeur of La Campana hill. This trail promises an adventure through the wonders of nature, providing both tranquility and excitement.

For people with reduced mobility to complete the hike, this tour includes a Joelette wheelchair and two assistants to steer it. This one-wheeled, all-terrain wheelchair requires two companions for carrying and steering.  Staff on-site are trained to teach you how to use it.

If you need a third assistant, our travel experts will gladly arrange that service for you for an extra price.

The site has compact earth floors, an accessible restroom with a ramp entrance, and non-accessible parking spaces. If you need accessible transportation to get to La Campana National Park, our travel experts can arrange that for you for an extra charge.

Each non-disabled companion on the tour will be charged 15,000 pesos + IVA (22 USD).
