Enjoy a self-guided visit to ICON Park, Orlando, situated only a 15-minute drive from the downtown area.
ICON Park is an accessible family-friendly entertainment complex in Orlando, Florida. The park has many fun attractions that bring in many visitors annually, such as the Madame Tussauds museum, complete with waxworks of famous celebrities, and the SEA LIFE center, which has marine animals such as sharks and turtles. SEA LIFE also has a 360° tunnel through the tank, so visitors can watch the fish swim all around them. Other attractions at ICON Park include the Museum of Illusions, where you can stage fun photos with your family and friends, and the Pearl Express train which tours the park. Don’t forget to take a spin on The Wheel, to enjoy views of the park and the surrounding area.
ICON Park also offers many shopping venues where you can buy local souvenirs and gifts. If you get hungry, you can stop off at one of the onsite restaurants, which offers cuisines based on French, British, American, Australian, Mexican, Turkish and Italian food. There are also numerous bars and concession stands to purchase drinks or on-the-go snacks. Admission and parking at ICON Park are free of charge, as are the nightly light shows. Certain attractions however require a paid ticket that can be booked online or purchased at the counter located inside of the Wheelhouse.
The park is accessible to visitors with disabilities, but restrictions may apply to some of the attractions within the park. All attractions can accommodate wheelchairs measuring up to a maximum of 91 cm (36 inches) in width and 129 cm (51 inches) in length. Service animals are welcome, as long as they stay on a leash at all times. Accessible parking bays are located close to the entrance and several accessible restrooms can be found onsite.
