Overview

Located on an 8-mile-long Florida island, next to the spectacular Gulf of Mexico, Siesta Key Beach is a place for shopping, dining and relaxing. With a bustling nightlife and a sandy beach with turquoise waters, Siesta Key is a true paradise on earth. There is a recycled plastic mat as an accessible entrance, and beach wheelchairs are available from 9 AM to 4 PM but they can also be previously requested for another time of the day. With parking spaces designated for people with disabilities as well, you will have a full beach experience in an accessible way.

Yes! From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m beach wheelchairs are available. If you need one outside those hours you can contact the Sarasota County ADA Coordinator (941-861-5000 / oradacoordinator@scgov.net) three days before.

As this is a self-guided tour, there will not be a tour guide or dedicated person available to assist you. However, this trip can be arranged for customers traveling by themselves. Assistants and trained guides will be hired to assist and help out with the logistics needed.

There is an accessible mat to enter the beach and 8 designated parking spaces are available.
