Overview

The Glazer Children's Museum is a learning destination in Tampa, Florida, dedicated to promoting interactive play and exploration among children and families of all backgrounds and abilities. With a ramp entrance, a wide elevator, step-free premises, and an accessible restroom stall,  the site is wheelchair accessible. The Glazer Children's Museum offers wheelchair accessibility for most of its themed areas and exhibits. Guests can request a limited number of VELA mobility chairs and wheelchairs from Guest Services at no additional cost. Service dogs are welcome!


This tour cannot be booked online. Tickets can only be purchased at the box office.

Yes! All Museum restrooms are wheelchair-friendly and have accessible stalls and changing tables. Restrooms are located near the elevators on all levels.

Yes! Children of all ages are welcome.

Operating hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:30 am to 5 pm. However, on the last Sunday of each month, the museum closes until 1 PM. The museum is closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve (closing early), and Gasparilla Parade. During the summer months, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the site is open every day from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
