Overview

The Arizona Museum of Natural History is a family-friendly museum that awakes people of all ages curiosity. With hands-on interactive exhibitions made for children in the Exploration Station, this Museum houses over 60,000 historical objects. The collections are dedicated to educating about topics like the ancient Americas, archeology, paleontology, and Arizona’s history. Moreover, the building interior has an impressive three-stories mountain and massive dinosaur skeleton recreations!

This Museum is wheelchair accessible. All floors can be accessed via elevators, entrances are step-free or ramped, and there are designated accessible parking spaces. Adapted bathroom stalls are available, as well as changing rooms for children. With programs tailored to autistic children, the Museum is inclusive and allows licensed service animals.
