Overview

Visit the Goldfield Ghost Town in Mesa! You can explore a refurbished 19th-century gold-mining town that genuinely represents the legendary wild west country many films have depicted. Now a tourist attraction with many historic buildings to visit, shops to explore, and the opportunity to visit the Goldfield Museum, this traditional mining town used to boast 3 saloons, a boarding house, a general store, a blacksmith shop, a brewery, a meat market, and a schoolhouse.

The site has accessible paths, and there is a step-free restroom on-site, a toilet equipped with grab bars, a sink with knee clearance, and enough turning space for a wheelchair user. The on-site restaurant is step-free and has enough space between tables for a wheelchair user to circle around obstacle-free.

Please note some areas have gravel floors that could be difficult to navigate for wheelchair users.
