A perfect beach for surfing, scuba-diving and stand-up paddle boarding, La Jolla Shores is a 1 mile long sandy beach in San Diego. A permanent lifeguard station is available and shops and restaurants are nearby. There is a park with seating areas and a playground for children to play in, with beach views and palm trees.


There are 2 accessible restrooms and beach wheelchairs are available. Pet friendly in mornings and evenings, this beach has a paved wheelchair-accessible boardwalk to stroll around flat terrains.

Yes! leashed dogs are allowed on the beach before 09:00 AM and after 06:00 PM from April to October. Changes to 04:00 PM from November to March.
