This group tour was designed with accessibility in mind. Your comfort and safety are our priorities! The following services are included in the itinerary:
Accessible accommodation: The hotel is a 4-star establishment, offering all the amenities for the comfort of travelers with accessibility requirements; all the guaranteed adapted rooms are equipped with a roll-in shower. It is conveniently located just 2 blocks from the Sagrada Familia (400 meters), and guests can enjoy a breathtaking view from the terrace.
Accessible transportation: An accessible van fitted with a wheelchair lift/ramp will do all transfers between destinations, activities, and airports.
Accessible activities: The slow-paced itinerary includes adapted activities that will let you explore Barcelona at its fullest.
Please note that although guides and tour leaders will always be happy to help and have experience assisting people with reduced mobility, personal, one-on-one assistance is not included in the price. If traveling without a companion, a reasonable degree of independence is necessary.

Upon arrival at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), your guide will meet with you, assist you with your luggage, and escort you to the accessible shuttle service to the hotel. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and settle into your guaranteed accessible room! Later in the evening, you’ll meet with your fellow travelers and the tour leader for exquisite cocktails, where you’ll receive program details and immerse yourself in this group tour experience! Gaudí's Icons: La Pedrera House and Sagrada Familia
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you’ll get ready to explore two UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Antoni Gaudí's masterpieces. Your expert guide will pick you up for a 4-hour tour of Gaudí's works. You'll visit the impressive Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera, and explore its raw stone façade, decorative details, and famous inner courtyard. Please note that the site is accessible for wheelchair users except for the rooftop. The tour continues to the Sagrada Familia, where you'll marvel at its interior, altar, crypt, and museum, as well as the stained glass windows' colors and the facades' meanings. You'll start by getting there with an accessible pickup service. After the 40-minute ride, you'll get to know the magnificent architectural legacy and the influence of past cultural movements, and you'll be encouraged to see the urban atmosphere of the old town, with its local shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. This excursion is designed for you to enjoy the sun, the long and accessible promenade that borders the beaches with crystal-clear waters, and the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that attracts visitors from around the world. If you want your own room there is a single supplement additional charge of USD 880.
This tour has a maximum capacity of 8 people, with a total of 4 wheelchair users (powered or manual wheelchairs)
A 30% deposit is required to secure your spot on the tour. The remaining 70% must be paid by 60 days prior to the start date.
Travel insurance is not included but is highly recommended, you can buy one with us.
We strongly recommend booking flights with a flexible price, so that you can make changes if needed.

Cancellation Policies
We understand that things come up and plans change. If you need to cancel your booking, here's what you need to know.
If you need to make changes to your booking, like canceling some or all of it, here's what you need to know. To officially cancel your trip, we need to get written confirmation from you. Just reach out to your Travel Expert and they'll help you with the process. Consider:
1) If you let us know more than 60 days before your trip, we'll keep your deposit as a credit for you to use later.
2) If you let us know between 45 and 59 days before your trip, we'll charge a 30% fee of the total booking cost and we'll keep the rest of your deposit as a credit for you to use later.
3) If you let us know between 44 and 30 days before your trip, we'll charge a 60% fee of the total booking cost and we'll keep the rest of your deposit as a credit for you to use later.
4) If you let us know 29 days or fewer before your trip, we'll charge a 100% fee of the total booking cost.
5) No-show or not used portions of the trip are non-refundable.
But no matter what, we'll do our best to make this process as easy as possible for you. If a trip or activity cannot take place due to extraordinary circumstances (extreme weather events, social movements, war, earthquakes, epidemics, etc), a full refund cannot be guaranteed. Rest assured, the Wheel the World team will do its best to offer the best arrangements possible.
