Your itinerary includes a full-day tour of Athens, where you'll visit the Acropolis and the Parthenon.
You'll also get to experience Corinth's vibrant gastronomic scene, travel to Epidaurus, located northeast of the Peloponnese, and Nafplio, which was once Greece's capital. You'll then head to Olympia, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games, followed by a free day in the picturesque town of Kalamata. Finally, you'll visit Nemea, famous for its ancient myths and legendary games. This group tour was designed with accessibility in mind. Your comfort and safety are our priorities!

The following are included in the price:

Accessible accommodation: Hotels are hand-picked and selected by their accessibility, and all/the guaranteed adapted rooms/rooms are/are equipped with a roll-in shower.

Accessible transportation: An accessible van fitted with a wheelchair lift/ramp will do all transfers between destinations, activities, and airports. Accessible activities: The slow-paced itinerary includes adapted activities that will let you explore Greece at its fullest.

Guides and tour leaders will always be happy to help and have experience assisting people with reduced mobility. Even so, please note that a personal, one-on-one assistant is not included in the price. If traveling without a companion, a reasonable degree of independence is necessary. But don’t worry! Upon your booking request, a travel expert will be able to assess this to give you the correct recommendations. Please let us know if you have any questions, and please read the detailed itinerary below. If you want your own room there is a single supplement additional charge of $800 USD.

    Arrival to Athens and welcome dinner

    Welcome to Athens! Upon your arrival at Athens International Airport, "Eleftherios Venizelos," you’ll meet with your guide, who will be waiting for you at the exit gate. Then, you’ll be transferred to your Athens accommodation in an accessible vehicle equipped with a wheelchair lift. After the ride, you’ll check into your guaranteed accessible room and have some time to rest.

    Later in the evening, you’ll meet with your guides and fellow travelers at the hotel’s restaurant to get to know each other and deep dive into the trip’s itinerary.

    Athens city tour & Greek cuisine explorations

    Morning: After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you’ll have a city tour to get to know Athens’ wonders! Our journey begins with the iconic Acropolis, Athens' "sacred rock." After the ride, you’ll climb the ancient steps (or ride its modern lift) and marvel at the architectural wonders, including the Parthenon and Erechtheion. Please note that the site has uneven, rocky floors that can be bumpy or hard to navigate. Afterward, you’ll delve into history at the fully wheelchair-accessible archaeological museum, where treasures from across Greece are housed. Next, you’ll wander through the Temple of Athena Nike, dedicated to the goddess of victory, and the Odeum of Athens, a concert hall with incredible acoustics. Here, you’ll pay respects as a group at the Temple of Zeus, a testament to the king of the gods, and witness the grandeur of the Parliament Building and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. To finish this fantastic itinerary, you’ll stroll the charming streets of Plaka, the old town, soaking in its vibrant atmosphere and enjoying the local shops and cafes. Upon arrival, you’ll travel back in time at the ancient Temple of Poseidon, perched atop Sounion's cliff.   • If you want your own room there is a single supplement additional charge of $810 USD.

  • This tour has a maximum capacity of 8 people, with a total of 3 wheelchair users (powered or manual wheelchairs). This tour must have a minimum of 6 participants to take place at the listed price. If the minimum is not reached, the tour still may be able to occur at a higher price, we will let you know by email.

  • Reserve your spot for only a 30% deposit. A second payment of 20% will be due 120 days prior and the balance must be paid 90 days before the trip start date.

  • Travel insurance is not included but is highly recommended, you can buy one with us.

  • We strongly recommend booking flights with a flexible price, so that you can make changes if needed.

  • If you're looking to make your group tour even more amazing by adding extra days or activities, our Travel Experts would be more than happy to help you out! They're knowledgeable and friendly, so don't hesitate to reach out to them. They will be more than happy to help you plan your dream trip!

  • This tour does not include personalized assistance or one-on-one support for individual participants. Cancellation Policies

  • We understand that things come up and plans change. If you need to cancel your booking, here's what you need to know.

  • If you need to make changes to your booking, like canceling some or all of it, here's what you need to know. To officially cancel your trip, we need to get written confirmation from you. Just reach out to your Travel Expert and they'll help you with the process. Consider:

  • Cancelling more than 131 days before your trip: Your deposit will be retained and non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made between 130 and 91 days before your trip: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost will apply.

  • Cancellations 90 days or fewer before your trip: A cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking cost will apply.

  • No-show or not used portions of the trip are non-refundable.

  • But no matter what, we'll do our best to make this process as easy as possible for you. If a trip or activity cannot take place due to extraordinary circumstances (extreme weather events, social movements, war, earthquakes, epidemics, etc), a full refund cannot be guaranteed.
