Overview

Get ready to discover New York City like never before! This 30-minute helicopter ride over the big apple is an exhilarating once-in-a-lifetime sightseeing and photo opportunity.

After watching a brief safety video, crew members will help passengers with disabilities get on and off board through manual transfers. You will fly over Central Park, the Hudson River, the New York Harbor and re-discover the city’s world-famous skyline. You will see the Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler, the Met Life buildings, and the World Financial Center from an entirely new perspective. This tour is also a learning opportunity, as your guide will explain the city’s rich history and world-famous landmarks.

The tour includes breathtaking views of the iconic Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Greenwich Village, and the historic Brooklyn Bridge. Your helicopter will then take you further North, where you will see the George Washington Bridge, the New Jersey Palisades, Columbia University, and on non-game days, the state-of-the-art Yankee Stadium. The helicopter will also explore New York’s southernmost border, and pass over the longest suspension bridge in the United States: the Verrazano.

An accessible bathroom is available before and after boarding the helicopter.

Guaranteed accessibility features

You must transfer from the wheelchair onto the helicopter and sit in one of the seats with your legs bent. For passengers under 150 lbs, our staff can assist you into the helicopter and will transport your wheelchair to and from the heliport while you are flying. For passengers over 150 lbs, you must be able to transfer on your own or have someone accompany you who can assist you into the helicopter.
