Overview

Guggenheim Museum is an art museum located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Named after the famed art collector Solomon Robert Guggenheim, it has a permanent collection of impressionist, post-impressionist, modern and contemporary art. Housing artworks by Kandinsky and Modigliani, its temporary exhibitions are impeccably curated and show what the New York art scene is all about.

With the exception of the High Gallery, the building is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. Accessible restrooms are available and wheelchairs are offered. There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance and service animals are welcome. On selected tours, an American Sign Language interpreter is provided. For visitors with visual impairments, Monthly Mind’s Eye tours are offered. They provide verbal descriptions and sensory experiences.
